Richard Robinson (born 1962) is a British Labour politician. He is currently a Councillor on the Broxtowe Borough Council. He served as a member of the Nottinghamshire County Council from 1997 to 2005 and has been selected as Labour's candidate for the seat in the 2009 County Council elections.[1]
In 2005, Robinson unsuccessfully stood as a Parliamentary candidate for Charnwood, but secured one of the smallest swings against Labour in the East Midlands.[1]
Robinson currently represents Kimberley and Trowell on the Broxtowe Borough Council. He also works as Parliamentary Assistant to Andy Reed MP for Loughborough.
